About Kariola
Kariola was never meant to be just a fragrance brand.
It began more than eight years ago, during one of the hardest seasons of my life. At a time when I needed to find my way back to myself, creating became a refuge. Between wax, fragrance oils, ideas, and many late nights learning as I went, Handmade by Kariola was born.
What started with my own two hands slowly found its way into other people’s homes. And without realizing it, those scents began holding memories, seasons, conversations, gifts, and little pieces of life.
Over the years, I changed too.
Kariola had seasons of growth, and seasons of silence. There were moments when I thought maybe its story had come to an end. But some stories do not end. They simply wait for the right moment to return.
And this is that moment.
Today, Kariola begins a new chapter.
We still believe in the power of scent to transform a space, bring back a memory, or simply invite us to slow down for a moment. But this time, the vision is bigger: to create fragrance and small rituals that move with real life, both at home and on the go.
Wax melts. Home fragrance. Scents on the go. Seasonal edits. And new ways to share everything I have learned over the years through Learn with Kariola.
The aesthetic may have changed.
The products may continue to evolve.
And I am definitely not the same woman who started this business.
But the heart of it is still here.
To create with intention.
To tell stories through scent.
And to remember that sometimes, we do not need to completely reinvent ourselves.
Sometimes, we simply need to return to what once lit something inside us.

Kariola nunca comenzó siendo solo una marca de aromas.
Nació hace más de ocho años, en una de las temporadas más difíciles de mi vida. En un momento en el que necesitaba volver a encontrarme, crear se convirtió en refugio. Entre ceras, fragancias, ideas y muchas noches aprendiendo sobre la marcha, nació Handmade by Kariola.
Lo que comenzó con mis manos poco a poco encontró un lugar en los hogares de otras personas. Y sin darme cuenta, aquellos aromas comenzaron a guardar recuerdos, temporadas, conversaciones, regalos y pedacitos de vida.
Con los años, yo también cambié.
Kariola tuvo temporadas de muchísimo crecimiento y otras de silencio. Hubo momentos en los que pensé que quizás su historia había terminado. Pero algunas historias no terminan; simplemente esperan el momento correcto para volver.
Y este es ese momento.
Hoy, Kariola comienza un nuevo capítulo.
Seguimos creyendo en el poder de un aroma para cambiar cómo se siente un espacio, despertar un recuerdo o simplemente invitarnos a bajar el ritmo por un momento. Pero esta vez la visión es más amplia: crear fragancias y pequeños rituales que acompañen la vida real, dentro y fuera de casa.

Yo definitivamente ya no soy la misma mujer que comenzó este negocio.
